Privacy notice
Learn how we collect, use, retain, and protect personal data on the public website and Backoffice.
Effective date: September 23, 2026. Version 2026-09-23.
Who this notice applies to
This notice applies to site visitors, people who request contact or unlock directory details, Practitioners, medical consultants, center members, and users of the Backoffice, continuing education, store, and Logbook.
Personal data we process
- Identity and profile: name, photograph, country, city, role, center, certifications, and public profile details.
- Contact and communications: email address, telephone, social media, reason for contact, message, and communication preferences.
- Account and access: authentication identifiers, invitations, role, approval status, and security or audit records.
- Directory: the visitor's normalized email, country or profile viewed, notice version, privacy and marketing choices, and authorization and revocation dates.
- Education and store: playback progress, quiz answers and results, certificates, orders, delivery or billing details, and uploaded receipts when applicable.
- Logbook and health: cycle information, observations, documents, and reproductive or pregnancy history entered by an authorized person.
- Technical data: session identifiers, essential cookies, IP address, and request metadata that providers may process for security, abuse prevention, and service operation.
Logbook data and any health information are sensitive personal data. They are processed only to provide the requested function, with restricted access and the applicable consent. We do not request sensitive data in the public contact form or to unlock the directory.
Purposes
Primary purposes
- Respond to requests and follow up on messages sent voluntarily.
- Operate the directory, record acceptance of the current notice, and reveal only the contact details of the individual profile requested.
- Create and manage accounts, invitations, profiles, permissions, change requests, and Backoffice functions.
- Provide continuing education, record progress, grade quizzes, and issue certificates.
- Manage orders, delivery, billing, and store receipts when a person uses those functions.
- Provide authorized Logbook functions and protect the site, prevent abuse, address incidents, and comply with legal obligations.
Secondary purpose: FertilityCare Latam communications
- Send news, activities, events, and training opportunities to people who enter their email to unlock the directory.
By submitting your email to unlock the directory, you accept this secondary purpose. If you do not want communications, do not submit the form. You can later unsubscribe by emailing the privacy contact.
Directory unlock
To reveal a profile's telephone, email, or personal social media, we request a valid email. By submitting it, you accept this notice and subscribe to our news and communications. Authorization is retained for 90 days in a signed, HttpOnly cookie that JavaScript cannot access; the cookie does not contain your email. You may unsubscribe from communications or revoke the entire authorization.
Processors, disclosures, and transfers
We use providers needed to operate the service: Supabase for database, authentication, and files; Netlify for hosting and execution; Cloudflare for DNS, security, and analytics; Resend for email; YouTube when you play embedded content; and Google Maps when you load a directory map. They may process technical data or the data needed to provide their service under their applicable contracts and notices.
We do not sell personal data. We will disclose data to third parties only with consent when required, under an authority order or legal obligation, or in other cases permitted by law. When a provider acts only under our instructions, processing is limited to the contracted service.
Retention
We retain data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described and for legal, security, audit, or legal-defense obligations. The directory unlock cookie expires after 90 days. When the purpose ends, data is blocked and deleted under the applicable periods; backups follow their technical deletion cycle.
Security
We apply administrative and technical measures proportionate to risk, including role-based access control, authentication, encrypted connections, separation of public and protected data, database policies, limited logs, and permission reviews. No system eliminates all risk; if a relevant breach affects your rights, notice will be given as required by law.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses essential cookies for session and security, a signed cookie to remember the directory unlock, and local storage to remember the visual theme. Cloudflare may process aggregated technical analytics. YouTube may receive technical data when you play an embedded video, and Google Maps when you load a directory map. You can delete or block these technologies in your browser, although some features will stop working.
ARCO rights
You may request access, rectification, cancellation, or opposition (ARCO), or withdraw consent, by emailing contacto@fertilitycare.lat with the subject “ARCO Rights”. Include:
- Your name and a way to contact you.
- A clear description of the data and the right you wish to exercise.
- Documents proving your identity and, where applicable, legal representation.
- Any information that helps locate the data; for rectification, state the correction and provide available support.
We will communicate our decision within 20 days after receiving a complete request and, if granted, make it effective within the following 15 days. Each period may be extended once where permitted by law.
Restriction, opt-out, and withdrawal
You may restrict the use of your data or opt out of marketing by emailing contacto@fertilitycare.lat. You may also revoke contact access from a directory profile. A marketing opt-out does not revoke the primary unlock. Full withdrawal prevents new access under that authorization and removes the cookie; we may retain minimal evidence when needed to document the request or meet legal obligations.
Changes to this notice
We will publish any change on this page and state a new effective date and version. If a change requires new consent, we will request it before applying the new purpose.
The English and Portuguese versions are provided for convenience. If interpretations differ, the Spanish version prevails.
Authority and sources
If you believe your request was not addressed, you may contact Mexico's Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the competent federal authority for personal data held by private parties.
This notice refers to Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its Regulation.
